Im altering the kit i have for my D1 unit with a GXE Vent Kit ... BUT ... does someone make a molded CF kit that would cover it up nicely? the GXE kit doesnt come with GXE stock interior does it? just when you get yourself a aftermarket head unit right? so will this be a kit i have to get customized? anyone with pics of GXE kit with molded kit added would be great. thanks.

You'd have to have it custom made, and it would be hella expensive. You can purchase a CF overlay on eBay. It's not authentic CF, but neither are any of the dash kits out there anyway.

geez .. come to think of it, the molded dash kits ive seen dont even cover the a/c unit so theres just gonna a big gap between the center vents and the **** **** trim unless i get it customized for both GXE kit and a/c unit = $$$. well metal, thanks for smaking some sense into me soo.... does goo gone do the trick with removing the adhesive residue from the flat kit i plan to remove - if anyone has done so? just hoping it doesnt fade the original trim....
