is there any difference between a 2002/2003 6spd console and the auto console? im not really sure about that silver shift surround thing, how much of the console it covers up but it looks like the area of black showing behind it is much less than the amount behind the auto shift surround. are they different? if not, does anybody know the part number for the silver peice and the shift boot attachment?

 

I don't have the answer to your question....but hows the 6spd swap going along? when do you think everything will be done and ready?

 

still waiting on parts, got my transmission, clutch hardware, ecu, axle and master/slave cylinders, everything else is still on the way

i think i understand ur question... the 6spd hole is bigger than the auto hole on that center console piece

 

so is it a different peice?

 

All I know is, the console part from Nissan is around 200 bux.

 

i ordered part 341015y700, just not sure if thats right or not.

 

The 5th gen shifter surround is the same for 5.5/5.0 gen

However, the auto vs stick surround are definitely two different pieces.
