everybody is a *******.
If you dont have anything important to say, then keep quiet.
Every discussion on here is the same day after day, so if I dont want to search for anything, then I will ask. Maybe if you had better things to do, you wouldn't care so much. Have a nice day.

It'll work but depending on what the impedence of that
bose speaker is, the volume might not get as loud....
meaning if the impedence of the stock sub is 1 ohm and you replace it with a 2 ohm speaker, you won't get the same amount of power from the sub.

But if he uses a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub he can achieve the 1 ohm impeadance. JL w3's have the options of dual 2, 4, 6 ohm voice coils.
I don't intend to flame, but why not just change out eveything. I know more money required, but the stock bose is not that good compared to even the least expensive aftermarket speakers.
With bose you have to make sure you love it when you buy b/c if you don't its more of a pain to mess with and add on. If you are even contemplating changing out your system when you buy a car you should stay away from the bose.
On a side note, I wonder what some of the other factory upgrades for other auto manuf. sound like. I was reading in mobile entertainment about some of the systems avail in other cars. I never new that nissan had a factory option rockford fosgate system for the xterra. The focus has a sony system. I think toyota has a nakamichi in some car. I wander if they rock or sound like bose. anyone had any experience?
