you should keep the 03 M45 and give your Dad the other.. it looks nasty ugly.. although the engine is pure power. Good luck with your car and have fun...

I wasnt able to pull off any parts as the car is immobile.. so i lost everything with this.

Yeah the M45 is sweet, it was my first choice, but i decided not to get it, and my dad snatched it up instead (to trade in the maintenance ridden benz).

Also I did buy domestic because at the price i paid for the new 300C with Hemi, i couldnt go wrong. I was looking at G35's and the new lexus is250 but it didnt do anything for me, plus the 300C i got a SICK SICK SICK deal on it.

I dont want ot get into the whole domestic versus import arguements because my faith in imports has significantly died after owning two Nissan 5.5gens. I will say, having my car towed in to the dealership several times in 3 years of ownership, plus having a new VQ35DE motor installed because of oil burning issues, and variety of other major issues made me feel like imports arent all they are cracked up to be.

I have been suffering the 300C forums and i dont see as many complaints about the car, like i saw on the maxima forums. But its a lease and i will get out of it in 3 years and hopefully i will see better cars in the future to select from becuase right now there is NOTHING out there that i liked, and that would compare to my modified maxima.

Glad your happy, if its a lease I wouldn't worry but I wouldn't buy it out...We've had 4 domestics in our household and 5 Asian in the last 3 years...We've had to replace 5 trannys, 2 in the same car....all in the domestics...

You should have bought the Charger, the 300C looks like an old man's car. Reminds me of a 1990 Deville. But as long as your happy with it that's all that matters. Good luck with it.

Hell me more about this M45 oil consumption issue. I never realized there were any issues on the VK45 V8 engines.

As for the 300C... we'll see how it goes. I would never BUY one personally as the depreciation is purely rediculous on these cars.

Yeah i was looking at the charger too, but something about the 300C won me over. I think it was all htose pictures of them slammed on 22's that really did it for me.

yeah charger is definately better than the 300, on the looks wise. id get neither though. and i like the new m45 better than the old one. but as long as your happy with it, then good. if it was me it would be between a A4 or 330i or IS 300. have fun in the old mans car.

Thanks for the comforting words... I THINK LOL>...

I still havent settled with the insurance but man it was SO SO VERY PAINFUL to walk way on saturday.

The more i drive my Hemi, the more satissfied I am. I am surprised how well this car handles in stock form (in fact its much more nimble than both my maximas were stock, and in fact feels a lot tighter).

The torque on this thing is UNREAL, i thought the maxima had gobs of torque, but this thing just pulls.

I ddid look at the BMW 330, the IS250, and a whole slew of other cars. But this car really does make a statement when its on the road. And it feels like a million bucks driving this thing even though its in the same class as the maxima.

Surprisingly for a domestic, the fit and finish is WAY better than the US built maxima/altima (i driven so many US built Altimas and several 2k5/2k6 maximas). The car actually feels solid (unlike other domestics I have driven).

Look, I am not a big fan of the domestics, nor would i EVER bash on imports. I just couldnt find the right car in the short time period I had (like only one week) because i was tied up with work and crap.

Just went to a shop to get some lowering springs and some 22's to make this bad boy look HOT.. Lets forget about adding a system to this car because MY GOD CHRYSLER, WTF kind of wiring is in this thing.. Most shops dont want to touch it because it has NAVI, and i though the maxima's BOSE system was bad.
