Strange problem anyone ever have this problem.
the other day i was driving i pulled into a parking space (i have an automatic btw) then put it in reverse before i even took my foot all the way off the break my car just cut off i then had to put it in park start the car back up and proceed to back out,Then the next day i was pulling over a fairly wide speed bump i slowed down almost to a complete stop eased on the gas a little just to get over the hump without bottoming out then my car just idled down and shut off.so i had to put it in park again and start it back up and then proceeded,Then last night i was backing in to my parking spot at home and i bareley gave it gas to back in and my car shut off again.....WTF
anyone know what the problem might be????????????any info would help..

From your description there are many things that could cause the problem, anything from clogged air filter to a faulty transmission. Does your car feel normal at higher speeds? How does it idle, smoothly? Also, try scanning the ECU for trouble codes, it might help you identify the problem.
i had a similar problem when my MAF died, but mine was with a 5spd, whenever slowing down in neutral. i dont think that would happen with an auto...in otherwords i have no clue?? sounds very strange tho, and this only happens at very slow speeds right? does it matter reverse or drive? and what about neutral?
have u done anything to your intake? i installed injen cai and naturaly it blew the maf and i had similar probs, car just shutting down doing 80 mph and shutting down. go to auto zone and ask them to read your ecu.
that would suck if ur car shuts off when you're going 60 + mph....
doesnt your wheel feel really hard, like the pump or w/e its called shuts off, so your steering wheel is really hard to move....same thing with brakes?
you can turn your car on while you're driving when you put it in Neutral.
I have an AT, and i have the same problem, but it only happens like once per 2wks or so...

Yea thats what i had to do i put it in neutral and started it back up while driving to work this morning the guy in the car next to me looked at me with a "how was he driving if he just turned his car on look"than i just looked at him like
got a proffesional cleaning system that is not available except to repair shops. system was flushed through my intake, fuel injector and oil system my problem has gone now. my car use to cut out on start up when warm. let say i drove thirty minutes then ran into the store to buy something, when i came out and turned the ignition it would try to die out on me. had to give it gas. did the above, no more problems.
