Bye Bye Max

I know I haven't been on here in ages, but my wife went on and did it!

Yes, she totaled the Max

someone pull out in front of her and she T-boned them. Both air bags deployed. Didn't look like much damage, but I guess the frame got a little tweeked.

Bad news: Had it paid off

Good news: Insurance gave me $13,286 for it. Blue book was like $12,000
Other good news: paid it off in March 2005 and only owed $8,000.

Great news if your Max gets totaled-they hold value and then some!!!!

I am sad to say I will not be getting another Max, they want too damn much money for them.

I did manage to strip parts off before they took it, so look for them in the classifieds.

I'll miss you all, this site is and always will be the BEST. Take care.

KJ

I totaled my 96 SE fully loaded 5spd, and they gave me $6500, this was 2 years ago, it was great! Sorry that you won't buy another max, if you look around you can find a good deal and still keep some cash... good luck !

Yes, she is fine. Just your standard aches and pains along with some minor burns on her hands from the airbag.

Man that airbags stinks!! awful smell.
