2000 Maxima GXe headlights are showing wear....Need help with new headlights

My 2000 Maxima GXE's Headlights are showing signs of wear and turning yellow instead of clear. I would like to buy the oem headlights found an a 2k2 or 2k3 maxima also seen here:

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/165352/2

Are these headlights the same size as the 2000 gxe's and fit right in? What all do I need to buy and where would be the cheapest place?

Are these good quality and easy to install? What else would I need to buy?
ewww..... just.... ewww. get REAL OEM HID's if you're gonna do the swap. These suck because the beam pattern is all over the place and it still uses halogen.

.....unless, you're willing to put the time and money to modify this into an HID projector headlight, now that's something else.

Try some 3M plastic polish on your headlights. It should clean them up nicely with some elbow grease.

you can wet sand them with a high-grit paper, get about 3 different grits and go over the light several times, each time with a higher grit. then get a plastic polish to finish it off.

I tried this and I had to take the car to my body shop, and they couldn't even buff it back to perfect, you can still see some haze from the scratches from sanding it

Where can I find the headlights in the picture above? Are those just for
2k2/2k3 maximas? I found them on customenterprises.com, but will they fit flush on my 2000 gxe and what all do I need to buy? Bulbs, connectors, kit, mounting hardware, etc.

Where are you in Albany? I did mine and they look great, if you are still seeing scratches, wet sand more with the 2000-2500 grit and buff with PlastX. Chances are you sanded to hard with the lower grit paper and left deep scratches. When you do it, you have to sand with little pressure or you will end up with deep cuts that will show up in the final product.

A freind of mine used flitz on his 00' gxe cause they were yelow as crap. now they are really shiny but they still have a little yellow tint to them. Those years were much worse anyway.
