Why no trenz Grilles for 00-01 maximas

Whats the deal ive been looking everywhere for a billet chrome grille not those mesh ones for the 01 maxima. Does any one know where to get them or why they are so hard to find. http://www.customenterprise.com/view.../vts/design017

Isn't it because the grill is attached to the bumper on 5th gens and cannot be removed without cutting it out?

yup, exactly! you need to use a hot knife or any object of your choice to remove our 5th gen grills. It is attached to the bumper ( One piece ) ! If you want to do a mesh grille you can find those, but you may need to have a billet one custom made .

Check it out, Trenz makes ones that go over the original because yes it is attached to the bumper. This is an alternative to actually cutting it out. I think I might go this route.

After you cut out the grille, will the 5.5 gen trenz fit perfectly on the 01?
