Suspension Help

Hey guys, I need some suspension help. I have not done anything yet and am getting H-techs/Illuminas. What else do I need in terms of camber kits etc.? Anything that would help my alignment.
Thanks

ummm, alignment will be done at a shop.....camber kit is rarely needed, but some camber bolts might do ya good....that is IF you need them.

I know where an alignment is done. But why do people purchase camber kits. Is it only for extreme drops?

I have an idea as to why it is installed, in terms of tire wear but I don't fully understand what I need if I purchase those springs and struts with 18inch wheels.

basicly it depends. As you drop the car lower the wheels want to tuck themselves in and lean from the top towards the middle. A camber kit corrects this. I bought the camber bolts when I bought the Tein coilovers, but I didnt even need them. Some shops with good computer systems to do your alignment will be able to tell your camber as well. mine was perfect, which was a suprise.

You won't need one. The H-techs are a mild drop. I have had no uneven tire ware. My last set of Nitto 555's lasted 37K miles with no uneven treadware. BTW, I have had the H-tech/KYB GR2 drop for over 2 years. Basically the same ride hight you will have.

Wait about 300 miles before you get your alignment. This will allow the springs to settle

Enjoy.
