but 02/03 maxima headlights are not as great as other cars headlights...they need to focus on newer cars such as BMWs, new Maximas...and othe cars with HIDs...
they need to leave us alone

well i'm in jersey the state where the most hids get stolen the most. i've been a victim twice. the reason they wouldnt move on to newer cars is because they are harder to steal, they are all better reinforced than ours so its seem to me that we just have to deal with it.

Forget that, they can BUY HIDs online for cheap now. They risk getting arrested if caught when they can just BUY the freakin things online!!

What does it matter for thieves? They just want HIDs....why should they destroy other peoples property when they just have to spend at most $250?

Sorry to hear that man, that's the same reason I don't get HID's on my car, don't have anywhere but the street to park my car. And I have to sleep sometime.

They want to sell them, not use them...

if they can get $200 for 10min worth of work, they will take them no problem.

I was wondering the same thing. However from what I hear on the board and from others, is that it is Nissan's crappy design that makes them so easy to pop out in 3, 2, 1.. gone. I have seen a couple BMW's around my way missing thier eyes also. It's not just us. It's a saaad state. My friends neighbor had her 02 HID stolen like 3 times in one year alone. I even offered to trade her my 2k headlights to save her the headache, seeing as how my .357 longnose makes a good protector. (J/K about the gun.. I wish though. But I am up for most of the night, I guess that helps) I'm really sorry to hear about that though. I want the same headlights but I rather retrofit some ebay projectors rather than run to the stealership every 3months.
Oh.. sorry fo the LONG post, its late, I'm bored and 'thoughts are a runnin'

Why do you think you can buy HIDs online for cheap? Who do you think is selling them? Could it be the same people who steal ours? Hmm....

Sometimes I actually wish my HIDS would get stolen. They're so pitted up from the rocks they throw down in the winter here for snow traction it's pathetic. Lol, HID's NEVER get stolen here in Colorado, probably because the shape most are in, not even the crooks want them.

Aaahh, ok. That makes some sort of sense I guess. Stupid crooks. I wish Nissan sold just the plastic front of the headlight. Nissan are being crooks themselves by making you buy the whole headlight if a rock cracks the plastic cover.

Same reason why a crook will hold up a liquor store for $85 or mug an old lady. Yes he could go out and work for that money, but why do that when you can steal it?

I have a feeling the new VW GTIs are going to have their's stolen since they only come with HIDs like the 02-03 maximas did.
