Cut bumpstops?

Okay, so Im finally installing the Illuminas/H&R's as we speak and wanted to know the consensus on cutting the bumpstops. I know some have and some havent. The roads around here are awful. I cannot stand bottoming out. I frequently load the car up and travel to Florida, and last year on the stock suspension I bottomed out all the way there and back. I would like to avoid this as much as possible. So, what would you all do? cut or no cut?

and if cut, how much?

But...I dont see anything listed if youre putting on the illuminas all around, and putting H&R;s up front with the stock springs in the rear. Should I even worry about it?

It has nothing to do with the struts. If you drive over bad roads, then cut half to one inch, if roads are good where you live, don't worry about it. Since you're only dropping the front, just cut the front stops, if necessary.

Btw, Housecor's bump stop thread was still on the very first page of the forum....
