i looked at tranny coolers and looked up hayden and b&m b&m has more cooling rods then hayden and a drop resistor whats that for? i like b&m more for those to reasons is it worth it anything better? what size do i need and also can i put syn tranny fluid in my 03 i was told no but what do u guys think also i will have my cooler instaled by maxima tunning in ny when i get my stage 2 is there anything i need in addition to the instalation kit is there such thing as a tranny cooler pan for our cars?thanxs andrew

You can run synthetic or non-synthetic tranny fluid. The benefit of synthetic is really the longer life span. I have Mobil 1 synthetic, stage II VB mod, and a tranny cooler. Been running it for over 60,000 miles with no issues. I haven't changed my fluid at all and it is still the bright red color (checking with dip stick). I'll probably change it soon, just to do it and drop the pan to check for metal filings.
Really the cooler is easy to install. I put mine in the front of the AC condenser unit. Kind of tough if you don't have small hands...but it just takes patience. Good luck!
