Another FOG question

Hey guys, I'm looking to replace my fogs to HID's to match the headlights but I'm looking for a clear bulb instead of a purple one. Do they make any like this? Basically, I just don't want to see a purple bulb when the lights are turned off.

i just installed 6500k and the bulbs are as clear as stock setup. NO difference. on the side of the bulb is like a blue line which is in no way noticeable outside the lens. You have no worries my friend.

Oh yea, 6500k loooks so sexy

Thanks guys. Would you mind giving me a few recommendations? And where would be the best/cheapest place to get these? Oh, and the stock fog covers are kinda ugly, do they make nicer, smoother ones?

I just checked on PIAA's hids and the H3 bulb was purple.

i guess if you want a smoother lense get some aftermarket fog/driving lights like the hella optilux 2500 and put hids in them. they use h3 too. they have better output than stock fogs.

i'm pretty sure the 6500k he's talking about are HID's. Not PIAA halogen bulbs.

I dont know if lowincash is still on the board but has anyone retrofit the hella optilux 2500 to fit the 01-03 maximas fog light. Does anyone have any instructions on this is done and if they are in fact brighter than the factory fogs?
Jeff
