6th gen needs help with crank pulley removal...

Can someone please tell me once and for all the way to remove the crank pulley bolt? I read the stickies and can't find evidence if it is left hand or right hand thread? Thanks!
Greg

Impact gun and a socket, then the pulley should come right off the crank snout.

Used a 19mm socket and 2 different air gus and 2 men weighing 500lbs combined moving in a clockwise direction and that thing did not budge. Any other ideas?

Get a breaker bar, and set the bar where it rest on concrete, blip the engine. and wala. Your bolt should be loose.

I stopped at my Nissan dealer today and spoke with the shop sup who said that the crank bolt is a right hand thread. For the starter method, which way should the ratchet be to hold the bolt while the starter engages-loosen or tighten?

The bolt is righty tighty and lefty loosy. Be carefull if u place the breaker bar on the control arm... i bent in my oil filter lol. Had to change the oil anyway. If you are looking at the crank pulley straight on. The breaker bar should point to about 4-5 oclock and rest it against the concrete and then blip the engine. Be sure you dont start it.
