so i am looking to purchase either 5.5 or 6th gen. (but preferably a 5.5 i like the body style better) auto, fully loaded....

so i was wondering what the main differences are between the two (other than body style!!)

like HP/TRQ diff?
weight diff?
options diff?

and any thing else you guys think might help me be able to make a decision!

hp on the 5.5 is 255 265 on the 6thgen and i think the 6th gens are heavier

6th gen was on my list too but its too heavy and the styling IMO is kinda ...just my $.02..

Suspension is a major difference. 6th gens have an independent rear suspension while 5.5th have a solid rear axle. Best thing to do is drive both and see which you think rides and handles better.

 

6th gens are heavy so that makes them slower my buddy has a rsx-s 6 speed smoked the 6th gen by like 2 cars then he raced my 5.5 6 speed smoked the **** out of him so i would go with the 5.5th gen if i was you looks better inside and out

 

Not another 5/5.5th gen vs. 6th gen debate again.
