acceleration issue...

I was just wondering if anyone has had a problem that I am having. I get this problem periodicly or on trips where I drive for over an hour or so. When I hit the gas while excelerating it like falls on it's face for a minute then picks back up but feels slow as hell. It only does it sometimes. I have a new MAF and so I don't really know what it is. Has anyone had this problem?

Re: accelaration

I have had the same problem, like a whole in the fuel map. I found out it has to do with the oxygen sensors. What kind of octane rating do you run in your car. I found that the problem went away as long as you run 93-94 octane.

At what RPMs does this happen? Are you MT or AT?

I run 93 octane in my car at all times. It can happen at any RPM I guess. I mostly notice it below 3000. The weird thing is it doesn't do it all the time. I have a manual transmision also.
