Why not just get like a cattman rear section or catback?

I'm ordering a Magnaflow muffler with custom bent piping done, just needed to know the inlet size. Can I upgrade to 2.5" or 3" from the cat back with no problems??

I don't see the benefit in upgrading to a larger diameter if it's downstream.

A 2.5" cat-back is as big as I'd go if you're N/A. Don't get 3" unless you're gonna get a blower or turbo. 2.5" won't get you much hp, if that's what you're hoping for, but if you get a y-pipe or headers down the road, it'll help a little.
