Did a bit of searching for such mod however no details on "how-to"s ... Hoping to match the AC unit and window switches in blue. Has anyone made thier shifter light brighter? Pics?

And those aren't shifter lights? Do you mean the gear lights in the climate control?

No sir ... The lights illuminating the following P ,R ,N, D, 1, 2 ... right by the auto tranny shifter. They light up very dim.

as far as the clock is concerned i think ure only able to apply a colored film behind it. i.e. Blue Film for blue and Red film to make white ...etc... same for digital AC screen ...

It only appears dim because there is only one bulb in there to illuminate the whole shifter panel. Not sure if you can modify this or not. The bulb is in a tight spot and where it's placed, it's only designed to do what it's supposed to do...shine/spread light to read the shift indicators. I changed my shift indicators in the guage cluster from those nasty green LED's to bright blue LED's if you wanna see pics?

For the shift indicators, I used 5mm 5000mcd's (stock ones were 5mm also) and for the turn signal indicators I used 3mm 5000mcd's. Yes, soldering is required but is very simple if you are familiar with soldering jobs. Sorry, no write-up, but if you know how to get to the gauge cluster, it only involves taking the cluster apart. Very simple.

No. They are hooked in line with the turn signal wire which sends a signal for them to flash (like a bulb).

As for the shifter light (the P,R,N,D,etc) once you take out that whole coin holder/cigarette lighter/flasher assembly that goes around the shifter you can lift up the metalic shifter plate and you can take the whole light assembly out from underneath it. You can take the old light out and cut a PCB yo fit in there big enough to point an LED at each letter/number. I couldnt find a write up for this either so if anyone wants a writeup for this I can make on up for you guys?
