Search came up with results for other gens but not 5th. My Max is hitting 87k soon and I'm getting that squealing on cold startup that tells me the belt might be slipping, and I figure it's time to go ahead and replace them. Any links or help appreciated.

 

Buy yourself a Haynes repair manual, its relatively easy, just not a lot of clearance to get your hands in there. You'll need to pull the passengers wheel off to get to the neccesary bolts.

 

just go to an auto body place.... it costs 40$..... you should get light weight pulleys with it.....

 

i'm glad that squeeling is being addressed, i was wondering a fix. Can u explain what belt it is. I'm 100k and time for a full tune-up. How many belts can i replace?

 

The drive belt and the power steering belts are what I'm planning.
