IMO on black cars, it just comes out looking like you don't have a grill at all. Looks much better on any other color.

Id still like to see what it would look like, i'm sure it would flow alot better with just the chrome trim on black. Which is what im going for...

I never liked those grills, but it looks sweet. Is it different from all the rest or something? Oh and by the way I agree with GBAUER it will look as if you didn't have grill at all. You should paint it an off the wall color. Like yellow.

I say paint the grille you have on there, it'll still have that shine effect to it. that chrome is too much for the front...Or just stay with the factory grille and paint it same color as the car...either way its still visible and DOESNT look like its missing...and if you keep that aftermarket grille, put on the Hamburger like the guy above said haha

Thank you all for your replies...

That was a dry fit just so I could see how it would look on the car, nothing was cut so I probably would put the "hamburger" back on top. I just wanted to see if anyone had a pic of how it would look being black (or body color) with the chrome out line. I'd do it in photoshop but it doesnt look very realistic. I am getting 18's, black with a chrome lip to continue the look.

I got the upper and lower grills from:

unfortunately digital cameras cannot focus very well on the diamond pattern. Looks much better at full size 3000 pixels but way to big to post.
