Sunroof Problem. Nissan Goodwill!

Recently my 03 Maxima sunroof started making a loud clunk when closing. I had it diagnosed down in Arizona and now that I am at Fort Lewis Washington, this dealer had to re-evaluate the problem. The old dealer said it was a rail making the noise, Now this dealer says sorry the whole sunroof has to be replaced but your car is now out of its basic warranty. Although I am under the mileage of 36,000 the inservice date is what got me. So I had to call Nissan and THANKFULLY, they authorized a GOOD WILL repair.

So all day today they were working on it supposedly and I was given a LOANER CAR. A Nissan Altima 2.5 Special Edition. WOW The engine is so noisy, it lacks power, and its throttle response is that of a Chevy sprint with 4 people in it. I will say the only thing good about the car is its' gas mileage. Okay one other thing its suspension was softer then my 03 Max Se. But for$24K, NEVER!!!! That is not the only reason why I wouldn't buy it, its because every NISSAN dealer I have been around usually has 20 year olds working the sales and the service dep. I would have to rate the Nissan sales and service at 3. BUT THIS TIME WAS SHOCKING for me. Nissan finally made me a happy customer. All the other times was like pulling teeth and nails. I hate to say it but this will be my only nissan I ever buy. I LOVE MY MAX THOUGH!!!

I'd save the Happy Customer comment until you get it back from those 20 year olds fixed correctly...
