Ouch! I broke my shift linkage bracket!

Wow...was apparently hittin second gear WAY too hard! I broke the bracket holding the tension retainer clip that holds the shift cable in place. it's mounted to the tranny and is inboard of the shift mechanism (where the STS bracket attaches) i'll post pics in a bit. i thought the retainer clip came off, but the whole bracket sheared off. I am very surprised that it broke the way it did...any one else have this happen?

Just sheared mine the same way :/ getting it fixed today, oredered it straight from Nissan and it was only $38. Not to bad.

The sixth gen shifter bracket is cheaper (15$) and better constructed.
