Crank Position Sensor

I have a 2003 SE with 70,000 mls. Crank position sensors were replaced under Recall#R3022-CPS at 8700 mls.
My problem now is that engine died when driving at about 45mph, restarts after waiting 5 mins. or so and I have managed to drive home at about 30mph. Engine service light stays on (steady). Gas cap looks ok.
Does this indicate crank position sensor problem and, if so, would I qualify for free replacement a second time?

did you check the code? Go to your autozone/oreilly/napa and get the code pulled and come back.

Doubt you'll get a new CPS after 62K miles.

Get the codes read. You will get a lot of reasons your car stalls without at least ONE clue. Do you blame that sensor for any reason other than it was replaced on a recall a long, long time ago?

And no you probably will not get a free sensor from a recall done when the car was almost brand new.
