Both of these were slightly modded, 5spd 5.0 GT 89 and a 5.0 last body stang..94?

Haven't ran 5.0s yet in this car stock, and had 2 5.0s show me there tail lights tonight... 1 1/2 cars mainly by 100mph! I have only ran 4.6 autos and 5spds and beat them, but man the difference between those 2 engines is huge..... Hehe oh well, more mods time!!!!!

like someone said racing mustangs are alot like the lottery and so far i've been lucky i guess since i only lost once to a 4.6 half a car buy 90mph ,i've raced mostly fox body gts'5 speeds and have beaten them all but not by much on the street and killed a 4.6 one the parkway {walked away in 4th}do you have a y-pipe?, that should help alot.

 

The old 87-90 Stangs can easily run high 13's with minor mods. Tough fight to pick!

 

my friend is all about Fords, and after talking to him...you can make those run 12's easily.

For about $2-3 thousand, you can build a junkyard car which can run 13's and 12's pretty easily. His exhaust from the junkyard cost him only $100, thats w/ headers->mufflers. The expensive part is the turbo.

 

i was even with a 1995 5.0 GT automatic... but i had a bad start and it was in winter... everything was cold including the ground (ice, snow) and tires... but the air was colder too... i didnt have an OSCAI then...
i see him around once in a while but i didnt have a chance to race him again... i think it would be a good one... especially after i get my suspension mods done... and my pulley...
