Speed limiter on '00-'01 Gle?

Is there a top speed limiter on the gle models?
If so how do you remove it?

From what I hear the SE and GLE are limited to 143 mph or so. The GXE is limited to 130 because of the stock H-rated tires. An ECU reprogram would probably fix those though.
