Help - whats causing this?
Just happened today as I was parking the Max kerbside.
Was just in reverse, and hit the brake trying to get it perfect, but after about 5 seconds of the foot being on the brake, the car kept going! Had to put in park to stop!!
Just to get it done and out of the car, put it in drive, and went forward, and hit brake when I was done, but guess what, it kept rolling after a grunting sound. Had to put it in park again.
It's a 2000 GLE with auto tranny.
Guys is this a rotors/brakes thing? I seriously hope its not a tranny thing.

It might be the throttle. When I slow down for a light and I'm pressing down on the brake it slows down and and right before I stop it hops a bit. And sometimes when I put my Max in park the RPMs rev real high and to fix that I pop the hood and press down on the throttle release or whatever it's called. Im thinking I have to clean the throttle and check on the cable that is opening and closing it.
