Double Din?

I think Igor and some others had a double din, and was wondering if anyone had pics or know where I can get the kit from? I'm looking to put in the Pioneer Avic-D1 or D2. I know the new N-3 is sick, but I just got rid of my Alpine setup I had and didn't like the constant folding in and folding out, always felt like something was going to break. Anyways if anyone has any infro please let me know.

lol I know how to search, but the problem as shown in the pic above is the GXE kit has a gap at the top? I just want to make sure that when installing that piece there is no gap and it's flush all around?

hehe you wiill always have that gap. Yuo can try the scosche kit which has no gap.....but you have to trim the sides to clear the headunit to make it fit. but the gxe looks best....

That's about as cheap as you will get it. The gap can be handled with a small peice of black plastic. If you're willing to shell out over a grand for a DD unit, why are you going to comprimise on other parts?

I think you're right, might have been even cheaper then that. Will there be any gap with this double din?

Is it because of the size or something else. How about a flip out single din, I assume there will be a gap on top as well?

I went with the gxe kit because I cant stand the different colors from the other dash kit. I do have a small gap with the eclipse, but thats nothing a little plastic and felt tape cant fix.

i installed my kenwood 7017 this morning. without a lot of trimming on the scosche kit, the kit will not work b/c the faceplate hits the top when it's moving. guess i have to order the gxe vent. assy.
