well when you have experience in this kind of work i don't think im gonna have a problem. my friend works at a nissan dealer and says he can reflash a 6-speed ecu for me at no charge i already thought of the immobilize on our cars.

i knew i was going to get comments about the swap, but thats not why i posted this. what i need is help maybe even pics of how the hydraulic lines route. and you gus with 6-speeds what kind of aftermarket cluches have you experienced and liked oo disliked? what about lightened flywheels? what i really need is to get a complete parts list of what i need.

once again thanks for the info. but thats not the info im looking for. i don't care what it costs or if its easier to buy a six-speed. for me i would much raqther do this to my car, because i already have her paid off and do not want to get rid of her. plus its noththat easy to find a 02-03 black 6-speed with lsd for less than 12k with less than 100k miles. ive already done a parts total and it looks like im in for 2.5k at the cheapest with a performance clutch and fly combo. like i said labor is free so thats where i save, maybe that is wherei its expensive for you guys.

Here's something to check. Several people have had problems with the aluminum flywheels eating starters. I would check the flywheel against a factory one to make sure the starter ring is in the same position as the factory one and the gear teeth have the same tooth pitch.

Bye the way what did you get for a price for the 6sp with HLSD? I've been trying to figure out if it would be cheaper to swap diffs or buy a knew trans w/LSD outright and sell mine trans and open diff to recoup cost.
