Illumina settings??

I just put on Tein h-techs and i illuminas, what numbers front and rear would you guys recommend for crappy roads/highways? Can't tell if there to stiff or just plain bottoming out. Currently on 3F-3R (cut the bumpstops 1 inch F&R)+
Thanks

When I had H-Techs and Illuminas I ran 3/4 and 4/4 and was pretty happy. Seemed to keep everything tight and prevent "bounciness."

But the front will pretty much bottom out no matter what. At least that was my experience.

Play around with em and find out which settings are best for your driving style, comfort preference, and driving conditions.

I have H-techs, uncut bumpstops, and the fronts are set to 2. I have never had it bottom out. The rears are set to 4.

3 front 4 rear for me, I bottom out once in a blue moon. We have some pretty rough roads around here. I'm riding on H-techs.

This is interesting for me......

I used to set mine on 3/4 or 4/5 and not have too many issues. After 2 + years and 30k miles, I've noticed that the bottoming got worse, and I've had to drop mine down to 1/2 to get a decent ride out of my progress springs. The handling is still pretty good, but the body-roll has increased slightly.

I spoke with Tokico tech at Tokico about HP's and Illumina's. I currently have HP's. His comment was that a setting of 2 would probably be equivalent to HP's. The Illumina's just provide adjustability for those that want firmer setting or are auto-crossing. FYI
