Question about mesh grille

I saw someone on here make a mesh grille for the lower openings on the front of there car and they put some kind on thin black rubber around the edges of the grille, i'm assuming so it doesnt stratch the paint. Does any one know where i can find that and what it is? Thanks

Here is a picture of mine, not the best, but I'll get better ones some time. I used the HD gutter screens with door trim guard from wal mart. Took a while to cut to fit the pieces (also a few cuts on the hands and fingers) but I've had a few nice comments about the look.

Thanks. Not that hard to do... it just required a little patience and a good supply of bandaids
