windshield trim

Last Friday the black trim that goes across the windshield came off. I still have the trim piece though. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what all was involved in fixing it.

Do you mean the rubber trim? Did a piece actually break off the rest or did it just peel away? I had some of the rubber trim peel away (not break) and bought some goop at an auto store thats made to hold it in place -- like superglue but rubber. Basically I just glued it back with that stuff and it did the trick.
