Is this for 3.5 engines? Will I benefit since I will be swapping a VQ35 in my car or does it have to be in a 5th gen??

That clear hose isn't the best stuff. I used it and it got hot then Collapsed in the bends. I ran a much shorter peice than the pic, because I didn't like the look of that long hose running all over the engine area.

Advance auto parts has hose made just for the PCV valve.

I tried fuel line but it to collapsed. Even if the hose feels strong the heat kills it.

Keep in mind most of the hose people are using is designed to take pressure not vac.

Im going to see if I can get some custom stainless steel braided line fabricated for the job. Have to find a place locally that will do it without charging an arm and a leg.

Thanks for the good idea Irish44j. heading to home depot today. You should do a step by step for this mod. The hose connects back to the crankcase under the VIAS right?

how come when I did mine I could hear a very audible suction (or blowing don't remember which one now) noise. I inatalled everyting correctly but I could hear airflow that I couldn't hear before, and it was comming from where my pcv valve was. Is it just me? Was it the wrong hose? or is that normal?

Mine made the same noise. I have to assume it's normal because I've had mine on for about 6 months now with no problems.

sounds like air is leaking from the lines, get some air line fittings to tighten the hose down ( home depot) compressor fittings section in hardware. see if that works
