which rear brake pads to get?

Hi, I bough some weird aftermarket rear brake pads about a year ago and they squeak like crazy and leave brown dust on my rims. Which brakepads should i get to have these problems solved? thanks.

Hawk HPS...low dust, good bit. Make sure to get the rotors cut, and to bed the pads correctly and use anti-squeal backing.

Just put these on, they work great with minimal dust and no squeal.

Another +1 for the HPS. Just changed mine 2 weeks ago, along with new fluid.

I think I have stock rotors and cheap pads. And my brakes feel very bad. Well it's not that bad if you floor it, but it does have alot of travel before you can actually feel it, which is kinda annoying.

Are all stock 00 maximas like that?

If I want my brakes to feel much more responsive and decrease stopping distance. Where should I start to change? Pads? Rotors? Something else? And what brand and model do you guyz use?

Please let me know. Thanks!

OEM rotors, which havent warped since i got the car at 55k miles it has 84k now, changed the pads duralast on the back and duralast gold on the front. Not the best but not horrible either, its what i could afford and i work at autozone so hey a little cheaper. Brakes are pretty firm. Hey another question to add to the first poster, i know getting brake fluid changed and flushed is important, any idea on how much this costs? I wanna get it done but dont wanna get screwed, is it on the cheap side like 70 bucks or kinda expensive like 130? not at the dealer by the way.

it should be around $50....it's only an hour job for most shops I would think. Otherwise, get a buddy to come over to pump the brakes, and do it yourself.
