GXE 5- Speed has a speed limiter at 130. CAan you remove the limiter?

I was racing this white 5.0 early this morning and I stayed right with him until 130 and the limiter kicked in. It sucked. Anyone know how to turn this off?

Isn't it electronically speed-limited? In which case the ECU programming would control that. I know I've heard of upgrade ECU's (for what cars I can't recall) that either raise or remove the limit.
