Just out of curiousity, what were production #'s like for a '02 SE 6 speed manual with
- cloth interior w/only power driver seat,
- no heated seats,
- no sunroof,
- non-Bose stereo?

Basically a base model SE with 6 speed which is what I have.

 

I think 6% of all maximas in 02 were 6 speeds. As far as no option 6 speeds I haven't the clue. I haven't seen many 02-03 maximas without sunroofs so I would assume not many were made.

 

I just Sold my 2002 Nissan Maxima SE no Sunroof, They are rare

 

when i was buying mine in 03
there were a bunch base models on the lot with the 6 speed, although weirdly enough most of them either had the sunroof or the bose

 

I don't have a '02/'03 brochure. Did Nissan offer a 5.5 gen GXE? I've seen several GLE's and SE's, but no GXE's like '00/'01 model years.

Originally, I looked at several '00/'01 3.0 GXE 5 speeds, but this one popped up and the price was right, so I ended up with a 3.5 SE 6 speed instead.

 

Yes nissan made 02/03 GXE but very very few. I've only seen 2 in my life. Now those are rare cars. I would assume that most people shopping for a maxima wouldn't be looking to buy a base model without options or they'd just buy a Altima instead.....I've been trying to help a friend find a 6 speed and the pickings are very slim.
