is my slave cylinder broke?

So i thought my clutch pedal was feeling a bit soft last night, but also thought it ws just me. This morning I get in and it is SOFT. i check everything out and in the book where it says I have a clutch fluid resovior it is empty. So I filled it up with brake fluid and drove home and there is pretty much just as much as I put in it. It still feels a bit soft though. My master cylinder has just as much brake fluid, maybe missing a little but it looks normal. Anyone have any insight, i'm going to be checking it out today.

From what I gather, you may have a leak. If your slave cylinder does not have a leak, then your master cylinder may have a leak. Pull back your carpet under the clutch pedal and check for leaks.

When the MC is completely empty and you fill it with fluid the system needs to be bled of all the air. I would worry about finding the leak first though.

I think your clutch is shot, that's why you have the soft pedal feel.

tested the clutch by putting it into 5th with the ebrake up and it died immediately. My clutch is fine. Filled the resovior with brake fluid, and it is still full. Almost doesn't look like it lost any. Bled the line today, looks like a small leak toward where the bleeder is, although that may be because we were bleeding it. I'm going to let it dry out for a few days and keep my eye on it, but it looks to be a small leak from the hose.

I have the same problem and have had to put fluid in every freaking week. I still can't locate the leak but will try to get the stainless steel hose since that eliminates most of the hardware. Good luck.
