2003 SE vs 2005 SL handling

recently took my moms car on a twisty road and noticed that it (2005 SL) handles much better than my 2003 SE. Both are stock suspensions except mine has a fstb. I think its kind of sad that the luxury trim of the 2005 has better handling than the sport trim of the 2003 with a fstb. the 2005 is heavier as well. Not to mention that the tiptronic on the 2005 is a ton more fun to drive than my 4spd. comments?

Doesn't really surprise me. The 5 AT is definitely better than the 4 AT and the 6th Gens have IRS while we have the crappy multi-link beam.

Shouldn't be a surprise. Updated chassis should always mean better handling. And the 4 speed auto in the maxima sucks big time so I am sure the 5at is way better................But the 6 gen is still a fat hog
