I have an intermitent problem that seems to be getting less intermitent as time goes on.

During partial throttle runs first gear feels ok..kinda slugish but nothing to bad, then a shift to second and I have the following problem..

1- RPM guage seems to stutter as though the guage is sticky
2- Kinda feels like the tranny is slipping, but the rpms arent rising high then returning
3-car feels very hesitent...almost like its bogging down. That and the RPM guage looks like it sticking every so often between 2500-4500 rpms..after that seems ok.

Anyone else have this?
I recently changed the tranny to dexron 3 in attempts to resolve but no such luck.

Anyone have any ideas?
Car has 68k miles on the odo.

Nope no check engine lights....

Is the knock sensor code still hidden in the 2k2 models? like my 99 was?

Thats about the only thing I can think, besides a tranny issue. or something along those lines.
