D2Rs in fogs?

Anyone ever try to convert D2R bulbs in h3 fogs?? is this possible if one were to take out the shield?? anyone try this??

yea you can tear out the shield, but idk about the d2r's, but anything is possible if you have the right wiring harness.

D2R bulbs were not designed for a foglight application, besides it might be a little too big for the assembly. If you're looking for brighter fogs, then get a Helios H3 HID Kit.

lol, in actuality you wouldnt, the pic made it come out like that, its not really blinding in person.

yea, at first i thought it would blind, but when i drove, it seems fine, it doesnt aim high at all. Never been given the finger, or high beamed or any of that stuff, and i live in NY where they would tell you like it is.

nice!! thanks guys for teh answers, after lookin at some prices for ballast and stuff, plus 3000k bulbs, ill be better off getting a 3000k hid kit.... later though.. ahha thanks again!

Can tou tell me how you made them fit/work. I got a set of d2r bulbs, ballast, etc., I got them out of a wrecked paair of I30 lights at work.

lol i did it ghetto style, mount the ballast, put the bulbs in, AND SILICONE/JB WELD THAT ***** IN.

i could take pics when i change my bulbs to 3000k, dont wanna do it right now tho, with the lip on, taking out the fogs just scratches up the whole shyt.
