Slotted rotors and stock pads

A little history here first, I installed the Blehmco BBK kit about 10k ago, with 05 Zinc plated and slotted iRotors. Warping is gone, but when I brake hard or come of an exit ramp for example, the brakes make a crazy sound, and vibrates the car(not warping vibration but like buzzing). I know slotted rotors tend to hum but this is so bad the rearview mirror shakes like I have subs in the back and passenger ask me if my car is ok.

is this because I have stock pads still on? or is it really the slots in the rotors?
I'll try get some video up.

more bbk problems... did you check if your pads have full sweep area/contact with rotors, i.e. do not hang over the edge of the rotors...

Uhhh, where's your back pad? Those look older than the front ones.

The one on the left in the outer pad off of my front passenger caliper. The one on the right is the new hawks that went in.

Was only outside pad worn down? How much friction material was left of the inside? What about the other front wheel?

That looks to me like your caliper is seized, or possible needs some grease but with that much dragging its probably bad. You'll want to replace them both and since you already have pads I would get unloaded calipers, that should solve your problem.

I had Jeff92se brackets on my 4th gen with 300ZX calipers and 13" cobra drilled and slotted rotors and mine we're also very quiet with no problems!

This statement drives me As you can see all he needed was new pads, a few people on this org have gone to great lengths to source out excellent and affordable brake upgrade systems for us all to benefit from..... thanks to Jeff92se, Mattblehm and others. I haven't seen one thread where the problem has been the actual upgrade product!!!!

BTW great choice in pads pri63
