KYB Dustboots and bumpstops

Well long story short...I think I may have cut my OEM bumpstops a little too much. When I have three other people in my car and go over rough roads and unexpected bumps it's not pretty. I decided to buy KYG dustboots and bumpstops from Cattman, has anyone used these and do I need to trim them?

I've bought KYB boots and bumpstops before and while not for a Maxima, they flat out sucked. Real hard rubber, made in India. I'd get a monroe kit, if it's available for your car, one I bought used a softer urethane bumper.
