Little help with fogs please
I'm trying to rewire the fogs top come on without the lights being on..
Using housecors how to, I dont quite understand one part:

are you just supposed to push into the little access holes...or..?
I tried pushing into them with a small piece of metal, but nothing, so I'm lost on this one.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks

is that trying to seperate the fuse box? I took mine out and that seemed to be a tricky part to do. unless anybosy else has done it perfectly...i put quite some scratches on the side of mine trying to tear it apart. i never found the "correct" way to take it out.

that's the hardest part of the re-wiring. take your time and push in with a amall screwdriver... if you cannot take it out remove the bolts and pull the box up, you can access the wires (tight ).

Like Lontar stated, take your time and use a small screwdriver or 2. Use a flashlight or spotlight to help really see the work area. Make sure the tabs on the engine side do not slip back down. If I remember correctly, at this point I then started with the outside hole on the front side first, pushed the two center clips together next (different than housecor's process), then finished with the outside hole on the back corner. Each of these steps make sure the top portion of the fuse housing is lifted up enough to keep the tabs from slipping back down and closed, or you have to start over. You will not really move the housing up more than 1/8 to 1/4in. Once that is done you should be able to pull up enough to be able to flip the housing, pivoting along the side closest to the engine firewall, just like opening the hood. It will be tight feeling, especially if it is like my car which did not have much play in the wiring, so I was only able to pivot up about 45 degrees, if that. I had just enough room to get one hand in place to secure a wire clip, tape the cut end, and complete the conversion. Good luck and be patient, it's worth it!
edit: I think I just figured out why my process had the wires so tight. I flipped the housing the wrong direction. In my haste I did not realize that housecor flipped on the front side, not the firewall side. Know I will know for next time...er, next Max.
