its been a while

Whats going on people I see a lots changed. The last time i was here was 09-28-2003 almost 3 years ago.. Right after my car got liberated in Brooklyn Nyc. Now that ive moved Im lookin to get another maxima. Im going to be home from Iraq in a couple of months and I got money to spend but im a lil out of the loop in the maxima family. Can anyone give me a quick lowdown on the 5th and 6th gen models. Are there any places on here that i can get info on these cars. thanks in advance....

P.s. please help there trying to convice me to buy an Integra or a RSX..

no,no ,no , honda is a big no ,no Imo. If you have some $$ to spend go for the 6 gen .

go with the 5.5 gen 6 speed you will never regret it faster and cheaper then the 6 gen

If you are looking for a fun car to drive then get the RSX type-s. I think it was Blackbirdvq who said the freaking ka20(?) engine was really easy to mod. If you are really hell bent on a maxima, then yeah, the 2k2 2k3 6spd maxima would be the way to go unless you want a newer car. I would rather pick the current gen altima over the 6th gen, but that is me.

why's it a big nono? they are different in class, price, + performance
also, a lot more aftermarket support for hondas
don't let his simple NONO sway u from getting a car you want. he's asking for detailed specs and opinions of maximas

How is 5.5 gen faster then the 6th gen??? I thought it was an opposite way!!

Thats what I thought.

Back on topic,
I think you should get a 6 gen. Another reason you should get a Max is because there are too many Honda's, Acura's...etc. that are being modded. We need to show them which car is the best, we need to represent.
