Air Conditioning Question - Need Your Help

Quick, simple question on an 03 Max:

When using the AC, is the "recycle air" button supposed to work with the foot, foot/defrost and defrost outlets. The manual says it automatically turns off when using it on heat but says nothing about it automatically turning off when using it with the AC.

Also, if the recycle air button automatically shuts off for foot, foot/defrost and the defrost outlets when heating, are you able to manually turn it back on?

Any input would be greatly appreicated. Thank you.

Yes.
Something must be wrong w/mine then b'cuz the recycle air button won't work w/the foot, foot/defrost and defrost outlets whether heating or using AC. It was working before but I had a guy do some work on my stereo two days ago where he had to remove the entire center panel. It hasn't worked since then. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

If your center panel was removed, then yes I would check all the wiring behind the A/C unit. It is more than likely a wire(s) may have come loose or stretched.

The guy came back and checked all the wires, everything was plugged in fine. Basically the AC is mimicing the heat settings as far as not beign able to recycle the air for foot, foot/defrost and defrost. Very weird.

I don't think that's it. I recall someone having a similar problem a few weeks ago. Now I'M having the same problem.

Do you know what caused your problem and did it go away by itself and come back again?

Aaah I misread your post. Thought you said you were having the same problems a few weeks ago and now you're having it again. Thanks for clarifying.
