Does anybody have any prices. There is a autobarn next to me. They are selling ultra blue head lights at $13 each. Are those any good?

"blue" headlights have reduced light output, since they're just normal bulbs with blue-tinted glass. If you are asking "are they any good," the answer is a definite "NO" to any blue-glass-tinted bulbs. They'll reduce your visibility (which is kind of counterproductive, if you're talking about headlights)....

anything more or less than 4300k light will reduce your visibility so your gonna want to find that temp. or something pretty close. sylvania makes nice white bulbs and i just got mtec fogs and they are very white as well. If your willing to spend more than 60 bucks, which you might have to if a bulb blows on you and you dont have a warranty, you should go with HID's. They are much better looking and rarely burn out, depending on how much you turn them on and off.

Im using those Philips Coolblue lights, sell 'em at autozone for 9.99 a bulb i think. I got 'em for free for changing them out on some girls car, she gave me the old ones so i figured hey give them a try. The output looks better than stock, they arent ricey blue or anything like that but they have a slight blue tint to them, only noticable if your def. used to stock lights and you change them right there, which is what i did, or if you have them pointing at a light colored wall. It was getting dark and i had one stock and one coolblue in and you could def. tell a difference, i kinda like them.

THinking about getting silverstars, ive heard PIAA suck cause they blow out easily so i guess there isnt anything else besides HID's. Fog lights need to be brighter though, im probly just gonna get H1 silverstars or something

Saying a blue tinted bulb that shines white with a hint of blue is your eyes playing tricks on you. If you were to compare side by side the blue bulbs with 4,300K HIDs, the blue bulbs will look yellow. In the daytime, the blue bulb's light will still be yellow. So the kelvin rating for ANY halogen bulb is merely a marketing scheme, as even "8,000K" will look yellow in the daytime. But if you must buy those blue bulbs, buy MTEC on eBay, lifetime waranty FTW!

Also, no blue bulb will be brigher in terms of lumens, your eyes are just more sensitive to the white.

I figured it was something like that, i was just saying it looked a little brighter, well not even brighter just cleaner light i guess. Could also be the stock bulbs i had in there were dimming a little.

I would recommend Piaa Xtreme white headlights bulbs. That is what I'm using in my car and it has a nice bright white output to them. I had them over a year now without any blow outs or anything. They are rated at 4300k and it's the best headlight bulbs I used so far.

hey man.

I bought these KYO blueish white bulbs. If you want them they're yours.

But beware, you can't see $#!T with these things. I was surprised that you could still see in complete darkness. In other words, in lighted enviroments, you can't see your own headlight beams too well, but in complete darkness, you can.

I go on sprited runs in the canyons a lot, so I decided to bite the bullet and get HID's.

I've got the SilverStars. They are brighter than the stock bulbs and they are only $25 at autozone out here.
They've got a good output range of light.

I liked the look of the piaa xtreme whites but they died in less than 6 months.

I got my on ebay which is the cheapest you can get them for. Just make sure not to touch bulb lens when installing and you won't have any blow outs. When I installed my I wear latex glooves just to make sure. As I mention it's been over a year and nothing wrong with them.
