Concerning Noise....
So lately everytime I have the wheel completely cocked the make a left hand turn and start to roll ( like < 5mph ) there is this metal banging noise like I'm rolling over something...well uhh....metal. It only happens when the wheel is completely turned and I can't picture this as being good.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
DF

Does is sound like it is snapping???Crack, crack, crack etc. If it is I have a suggestion. Look at the ball joints on either side. I just changed mine 39.00 for both ball joints. Very simple. If you have aftermarket exhaust on the car, make sure that the hangers are stiff and the nid and B pipe are not hitting anything underneath the car.

Its your steering stops. There are plastic caps from the factory installed over the heads of the stops to keep them quiet while at full turn. Go to your local dealer and ask for 40039-D0100 x2 they list at 1.57 ea. they just snap on. Also a good idea to clean and grease the points that they contact.

No problem, we get at least one car a week at the dealership I work at complaining of this "Horrible" noise while turning one direction and going slow. Imagine how happy they are to find out they only need a 2$ cap.

how are those ebay ZENN springs? pix?
and what are XSPerformance exhausts? pix?
your problem is most likely the exhaust pipe banging against your rear beam axle or the caps that cover the two things that bang on the control arm when you're turning. nothing serious.

while my car does this while turning also, can anyone explain while it also does it over small bumps, and now even while braking and accelerating. Its only a single clunk that happens during one of those transitions. Was not present until after my transmission was rebuilt. any ideas?
