Teach Me About Spark Plugs

So it's about time to replace the plugs on my max. I'm going to go with the platinum plugs. Please don't jump in stating how much better copper is than platinum and that I'm going the wrong way on this. I don't have time to change my plugs every 20k so platinum it is.

Now then, my question is, and this is probably a really stupid question, are there still spark plug cables? I remember doing this on my ****ty '92 Shadow. Replaced the cables along with the plugs. Do you still have to do this on modern cars? Do the ignition coils connect directly to the plugs?

Thx.

Don't EVER put Bosch plugs in your Max, NGK is THE only plug these cars will run good on. And no there are no wires or distributor cap/rotor to worry about.

1.99 sounds WAY too cheap. they should be up at least $8, most places ive found are almost $12 per plug

i like to use copper. IMO they work just as good as the platinums and you save a bunch of money.
