perhaps the new rotors were warped. I've had that happen before.

very rare, but a set i got from Oreilly's 5 years ago for my 240 were warped. Took them back the next day, they put one on a lathe to prove it was warped and gave me a refund. Never bought anything from there again.

it doesn't shake when i hit the brake that would be warped rotors right? it's time for a
rotation so i'm going to have the them rebalanced i may have not tightend the lugs well
enough as well

only braking.
My maxima is shaking now also in the front, there's like 5-6 active threads about breaks in different areas of the forum right now. I guess maximas have an issue with warping their rotors, or the rotors are very sensitive to how tight lugs are. I was thinking it's just my car!

Things to consider are new ones could be warped, I had many sets with that problem. Another one is when driving, pull on your hand brake slowly and feel the car, last time I did my rear brakes it was the rear rotors that gave me the vibrations and not the fronts...

I agree with igzy, try the hand brake test. My car is in the shop right now because my rear brake started to stick. I drove 4 miles to the car wash this past Saturday and burned the crap out of my finger when I touched the rotor. (it was super hot) You may have a warped rotor or a sticking caliper. (one shop told me I wash my wheels too much)

When does your car vibrate? Is it when you apply brake?

If it is when you brake then look at what the guys and I mentioned. If you get vibrations without brake applied then that may have nothing to do with brakes and your post title could be misleading to us that are trying to help you

Vibrations without braking could be caused by anything including off-balance wheels, warped rims, shifted tire belt, breaks in tire belt, uneven tire wear, ball joints, wheel bearings, sticky calipers, grease on rims, tie rods and the list goes on...

Did your rotors come off easy when you replaced them or did you have to hammer them to get them off? If you had to hammer them, that could have damaged the bearings...

Is the vibration in your seat or the steering wheel?
