The price of Carbon hoods are going up due to the shortage of carbon fiber. Couple years ago you could pick up a CF hood for like 280 dollars from vis.. now they're so expensive.

Try crawling from under your rock and reading the news for a change. There currently IS a world-wide CF shortage due to Boeing consuming massive amounts of weave for the 7E7 and 787 projects. And why would we want to invade one of our strongest economicl allies? Yeah, hilarious.

Alos, I'm still waiting on that link in which you claim a company did a study to determine the optimal brightness level for an instrument cluster. Thanks.

ColdSHO, have you contacted ViS directly in regards to their pricing. Looks like they are having some current specials running. Might be worth checking out.

kabir itlooks good. id say 90% but im one of those super picky people, ive seen the vis on a few cars, and it looks 100% spot on.

did u say u werent sure which brand u had, if its a vis it should say it on the inside on a lil plate i thought.

callkiss, how were they with shipping, i need ti to be dv-ed after the 23rd of august at the earliest, i know lots fo companys dont like things sitting in theire inventory for that long

any anyone please post pics of ur vis oem hoods, i would love to see them.

i actually just ordered my cf trunk cant wait to get it. ive never really bought anything crazy cosmetic before, this is quite a change for me. granted my cars still slow but im working on it.

dont forget the 350 parts in CF on the f-22 raptor production project and the 3500 that were just ordered to replace the f-15 air supperiority fighter. the two main comapnies are gearing up to adapt to the supply by late 2007 they will have 2 new manufacturing plants up and running to meet the need. so dont hold your breath till then.
