Alot better than just asking every time you have a general question like this

if you had to ask that question, i dont think you should be modding your car. but since you ask, headers, full exhaust, timing advance, udp, intake are the big ones, just like any other car.....

for an '01, y-pipe is a must....

also, lighter wheels don't add power, per se, but they have the same effect of making the car faster.

Some other suggestions...

Engine Oil Bypass Kit

odern synthetic oil is very expensive - so why run the risk of getting it dirty by running it through your motor block? KaleCoAuto bypass kit comes with everything you need to run the oil around your motor block where it will do more good. Oil runs cooler, and as a result, there may be horsepower gains!

O-Pipe

You've heard of the Y pipe.. the X pipe.. the H pipe.. nothing can touch the O pipe!!! It provides 100% back pressure feedback on ALL engines!! Torque increase and kuneutson valve float brings in much lower revs so you don't hurt your motor! Not CARB Legal. Please specify standard or polished finish. Product shown is single input O-Pipe with polished finish.

Radiator Insulator

The weakest part of your car is the likely the radiator. It is a simple matter of physics when we tell you this: Energy is lost through heat. Transmissions, as they lose more and more heat, begin to cause more loss of power. However, that's only a small part - The worst part is the radiator! All sorts of heat is lost through the radiator - in essence - losing the horsepower through heat! Not anymore!! KaleCoAuto brings you the Radiator Insulatior - Simply slip over your radiator and enjoy the power! KaleCoAuto radiator insulation is made from only the finest asbestos, and is guaranteed to trap 90% more heat!

Once you get all of this done, I highly recommend picking this up...

BUTT DYNO

Just install a great mod like a cold air intake? Electric supercharger? Big Muffler? Magnetic fuel line ionizer? Awesome wing? Are you getting no respect from your friends for your newly found power? As we all know, these are high end and sophisticated modifications. Some may be TOO sophisticated to actually show up on a traditional dyno. So here we have: The Butt Dyno. Simply place it in the seat, and drive fast, weaving in and out of traffic. (On a race course, of course.) Now you can tell your friends with confidence "That oil-saturated air filter gave me 20 horses!"

OK I'll donate and search, but I'm not computer savvy like you all so I don't know what I'll be searching. To alpinestars & maxedout97 I've always been a big block guy, modding an import 6cyl is a little different. To metalmaxima WOW you are either under the conception that I'm a blithering idiot or you're sarcastic and funny. To irish thanks for a legit answer.

thats a bunch of advertising.

back on topic,
if you want to get more hp, you should get a chip. youo can gain atleast 15 hp or more depending on what other mods you have on your car.

With all due respect, you've been asking a plethora of questions that have been adressed MANY times over in these forums and in the stickies. How about searching 'horsepower'?

To metalmaxima WOW you are either under the conception that I'm a blithering idiot
Well, you did admit on being incapable of using the search function.
or you're sarcastic and funny.
Me, sarcastic? NEVER.

There is no problem in being a n00b, there IS a problem in posting bogus information with no factual data/reviews to justify your claims.

Do a search for "JET chip" on these forums and see what you come up with.

Should I even try? Because I bet I wont find anything on it. JET probably isn't a chip. Sorry about that.

I suggest saving your money and geting a beater car with a v-8 and build it up just because there are millions of parts for those engines compared to ours we have hardly any.
